Bill of  Rights: VII
"In suits at common law, where the value in controversy shall exceed twenty dollars, the right of trial by jury shall be preserved, and no fact tried by a jury, shall be otherwise reexamined in any Court of the United States, than according to the rules of the common law."

Federalist Paper No. 83
"The strongest argument in its (a civil jury) favor is, that it is a security against corruption. As there is always more time and better opportunity to tamper with a standing body of magistrates than with a jury summoned for the occasion, there is room to suppose that a corrupt influence would more easily find its way to the former than to the latter. The force of this consideration is, however, diminished by others. The sheriff, who is the summoner of ordinary juries, and the clerks of courts, who have the nomination of special juries, are themselves standing officers, and, acting individually, may be supposed more accessible to the touch of corruption than the judges, who are a collective body. It is not difficult to see, that it would be in the power of those officers to select jurors who would serve the purpose of the party as well as a corrupted bench. In the next place, it may fairly be supposed, that there would be less difficulty in gaining some of the jurors promiscuously taken from the public mass, than in gaining men who had been chosen by the government for their probity and good character. But making every deduction for these considerations, the trial by jury must still be a valuable check upon corruption." Alexander Hamilton, 1787

THE COVID19 READER - IN THE BEGINING

Many years ago in the "Garden City" of Newton, Massachusetts - a Harvard 'bedroom' suburb touching Cambridge, on Kenwood Ave lived Harvard Assistant Professor Richard Alpert and his entourage including lecturer Timothy Leary.  Their children and friends attended the local schools to whom "The House" was known as delight, with the clowning behaviors of the many "adults".  Some years, Leary and Alpert's Harvard students, enroute to careers as leading physicians, lawyers and judges, would amuse themselves by 'spiking the punch' of faculty and friends with the various psychoactive compounds in their cabinet.

Years later, their youthful indiscretions would leave them unable to thwart the rise of our Nation's most dangerous cartel, a cartel which brought us the 9/11 Anthrax attack and COVID19.

HARLOT'S COURT - A HISTORICAL NOVEL?
'
CALIFORNIA DREAMING'

If there is anyone who would appreciate the unfathomable importance of a U.S. Navy Burial-At-Sea Flag, it should have been the young daughter of a San Diego seaman shot in the heart by pro-Nazi Croatian Ustasha smuggling 'Vatican' gold into San  Pedro.  From her school playground of the bay, on a clear day, Maria Stratton could see the buoy where her father, on foggy night, plunged in the sea, spurting blood from his chest.  When the Coast Guard retrieved him, a foot and an arm had already fed the sharks.  His eyes were untouched, wide-open and reflected a shimmering crescent moon in the black of a squid's ink.

Nearly a month after his death, Jeffrey Epstein continues to haunt some of America’s most prestigious On Saturday, a prominent figure at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology stepped down after the disclosure of his efforts to conceal his financial connections to Mr. Epstein, the disgraced financier who killed himself in a Manhattan jail cell last month while facing federal sex trafficking charges. Almost immediately, the M.I.T. official, Joichi Ito, left the boards of three other organizations: the MacArthur Foundation, the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, and The New York Times Company, where he had been a board member since 2012. He also left a visiting professorship at Harvard.

Solomon v Khoury, 2016-cv-10176 USDC Boston 2016

Over a decade ago, we developed the first of series of audience effects based on mapping the audience venue to a cue list and employing a directional data projector to control audience devices.  Since, the technology has evolved wonderfully, and as we were funding our commercialization, our former IP attorney Douglas Wolf used privileged and purloined trade secrets to copy our designs.  In a transparent and unlawful scheme, he authored a U.S. Patent without any reference to our identical published or patented technology.

SOLOMON v KHOURY explores the unlawful schemes of powerful IP attorneys and their ability to manipulate the US Patent Office.

TELEDYNE, COLOR KINETICS & MURDER of PAUL MILLER
ROBERT MEHRABIAN & ADAM SCHIFF

In the 1970s, MIT scientists were exploring the many uses for LEDs (light-emitting diodes) in medicine, industry and displays. At the MIT Innovation Center, Edwin Berlin was building 3D LED displays and Paul Miller LED signs.  Both inventions would become famous artworks - illuminating the Guggenheim Museum, Lincoln Center and similar venues around the world.

In the early 1990s, Teledyne, with funding the US Army, was promoting its high-density LED arrays for battlefield avionics and instrumentation.  Its culture was to win at all costs, even substituting inferior components and falsifying quality control documents to the Defense Department.

In 1992, Teledyne appointed Donald B. Rice, former Secretary of the Air Force to change the culture.  Nothing changed and in 1996, Robert Mehrabian, former president of Carnegie-Mellon and untenured professor at MIT would assume the reins, while his star students would come to Boston, 'interview everyone under the pretext of academica" and start Color Kinetics.

Fifteen years later, amid the $750 million dollar sale of Color Kinetics to Philips,  Paul Miller, along with legendary Yale Professor George Izenour  contributed affidavits challenging the validity of the Color Kinetics patents.

Five months later, he would drop dead at the age of 55, while installing a $1,000,000 Jenny Holzer LED Commission in new Pittsburgh Convention Center.
